Bonnie Rosales, 82, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 23rd 2013 at home in Isleta, New Mexico. After many years of enduring various illnesses she died peacefully in the arms of her youngest daughter Rebecca, and gently entered in to heaven to join her beloved husband Frank who had preceded her in death by 12 years. She was born September 12th, 1930 in Whittier California to Jose and Rebecca Salze, had seven brothers and sisters, and grew up in Montebello California.

On October 5th, 1947 at the age of 17 she married her one and only love and remained faithfully married to Frank Corona Rosales for 54 years with whom she had four children: Frank Rosales of Albuquerque NM, David Rosales of Chino, Ca, Madelyn Larkin of Albuquerque, NM, and Rebecca Rosales of Isleta, NM, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was intelligent, witty, outgoing, and had a deep faith in Jesus Christ Whom she received as her Savior in January of 1971. Her greatest joy was in sharing her faith in the Lord, and reading and studying her Bible. She attended Calvary Chapel of the Chino Valley from the first services ever held, and was a faithful member until she moved to NM in 2001. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Workday

Please join us for Workday on Saturday, June 8th, anytime between 7:00am and 2:00pm. Workday is open to anyone who would like to serve the Lord by maintaining the church grounds, and lunch is always provided.

3rd Annual Century Ride

Our 3rd Annual Endurance Cycling Century Ride will be on Saturday, June 22nd! There are 100, 75, 50, 25 mile starting points available! For those who will participate in the 100 mile ride, it begins at 5:30am at CCCV. For a listing of other start points, or for more information and to sign up, please visit the Gazebo after any service beginning Sunday, May 26th!

Women’s Intercessory Prayer

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

We are excited to announce that we will be offering MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) here at CCCV beginning Thursday, September 12th, from 9:30am – 11:30am, which meets twice a month. MOPS is an ministry open to mothers with children, newborn through kindergarten. Cost for MOPS is $60 per semester, and includes MOPS membership, guest speakers, childcare, crafts, special meals, and much more. KidCheck Registration Servants

Registration servants needed! In preparation for the new check-in process for our kids, we are looking for servants to help with registration for Sunday morning services, Sunday evening and Wednesday evening service. No experience required, we will train you! Stop by the Children’s Ministry office to sign up!

KidCheck Registration

Parents: On Sunday, May 26th you will notice that there will be KidCheck kiosks located near the Children’s Ministry Office. These will be up and running so that you will be able to create a KidCheck account, if you have not already done so. We will have servants there to help you with the process and answer any questions you may have. You will be able to enter your children’s information, add any pertinent medical or allergy alerts, and designate authorized and unauthorized guardians. Our goal is to make this transition as easy as possible and to alleviate any of your concerns.

Mexicali One-day Construction Mission Trip

Handy-men, join us on June 21st-23rd as we take a trip to Mexicali, Mexico to serve alongside John Barillaro’s church, helping with a construction and demolition projects. We are looking for men with experience in construction, ages 16+. The cost of the trip will be $45 (non-refundable, due at the time of sign-up). The cost will cover gas, supplies needed for construction, and a meals. Stop by the Gazebo to sign up beginning Sunday, May 26th, if you are interested in serving with us!
