2017 Men’s Conference

To Purchase Men's Conference Breakfast Tickets

Who’s invited?
Whether you attend Calvary Chapel Chino Valley, another fellowship, or have never stepped foot into a church, we welcome you to attend our 2017 Men’s Conference. All men in the community are invited. We pray you can join us!

Why attend?
Why not? The conference is free and only occurs once a year. This is an important time for men in our communities, homes, and workplaces to be encouraged and equipped to handle the many challenges of today’s world.

What’s the theme?
Our theme scripture is Acts 4:31, “And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” We pray men will leave the conference instructed in what it practically means to live a life filled with God’s Word and empowered by His Spirit. Whether you’re new in your faith or have been walking with the Lord for many years, you’ll be blessed by the various teachings and worship.

What to expect?
From 8:00AM – 9:00AM, breakfast will be served in the courtyard. If you are purchasing breakfast tickets online, you can pick up your tickets at Will Call beginning at 7:30AM the morning of the conference. If you would like to skip breakfast, then you can enter into the main sanctuary by 9:00AM. This part of the event is free, and you do not need a ticket of any sort. There will be worship and four teachings from four different speakers. The conference will end at 12:30PM. “Filled” t-shirts will be available to purchase for $15.

Who are the speakers?

Pastor David Rosales

After accepting Christ on December 27, 1970 at the age of 20, God transformed the life of David Rosales. Saved out of a life of drug and alcohol abuse, he was dramatically transformed and began a life of pursuing the Lord. David was ordained as a pastor in 1979 while serving at Calvary Chapel of Claremont, where he also served as an assistant Pastor. In 1981, David left Calvary Chapel of Claremont to plant what later became Calvary Chapel of the Chino Valley. Pastor David has been in ministry for over 40 years and continues to have an intense desire to see the lost come to Jesus and taught God's Word.

Pastor Garid Beeler

Garid was born and raised in Southern California.  He graduated from Ocean View High School in Huntington Beach as a standout student athlete.  Upon completing a four-year basketball scholarship, Garid graduated from Vanguard University with a bachelor’s degree in business. The Lord used a sports career ending injury to bring Garid’s life onto the path that He had for him. That path involved attending Bible College, working as a janitor at a church, and serving as an intern youth pastor. Garid began his ministry at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in 2004. He had the great privilege of being the pastor and evangelist for the Monday Nights LIVE Bible study with a live radio program for nearly nine years. Garid Beeler planted VISION City Church in 2014 with a campus in Irvine, CA, and plans for another in Los Angeles County.

Pastor Raul Ries

Graduating from high school, Raul joined the Marines and fought fiercely for his country in Vietnam, earning him two purple hearts for bravery. Already filled with anger, the war fed the fire in his heart, filling him with an all-consuming rage, which he brought home with him. Seeking refuge from the fury in his heart, Raul married a Christian girl he knew in high school and wrote to throughout his time in Vietnam. However, her love for him could not tame the anger within. Coming home one night and fearing that his wife had taken his children and left him, in a moment of fury, he decided to end it all by destroying his family and shooting it out with the police. God intervened through Pastor Chuck Smith who was on the television being interviewed. Raul then surrendered his troubled life to Jesus Christ right in front of the TV set. His life was completely transformed, his marriage restored and he was empowered by the Holy Spirit to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, to others. Today, more than 35 years after his miraculous conversion, Raul continues to faithfully pastor Calvary Chapel Golden Springs.

Pastor Tony Clark

Born in the steel town of Gary, Indiana, Tony dutifully attended weekly church services, yet had no understanding of what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. He went to church on Sundays, but lived life his own way Monday through Saturday. Shortly after joining the Marine Corps, Tony received orders to be stationed thousands of miles away in Okinawa, Japan. Even though Tony didn’t realize it, God’s plan for him would unfold in this foreign land. Going to Okinawa proved to be a God-ordained adventure because it was there that Tony recognized his need for a Savior and committed his life to the Lord. After much prayer, Tony and his family moved to Virginia to plant Calvary Chapel Newport News. Tony also has a radio program, “The Word Made Plain,” which is being heard by millions on the east and west coasts.
