“Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
The Couples’ Ministry at Calvary Chapel Chino Valley encourages couples to worship, pray, study the Word, and serve the Lord together. The ministry’s goals are:
- To provide questions and topics that will provoke discussions about the current study.
- To establish small group interaction of what the Lord is revealing out of His Word and its application in our marriages.
- To provide an environment for Christian couples to worship and fellowship together in Christ.
- To make marriages stronger in the Lord and to bring glory to God.
The Couples’ Ministry at Calvary Chapel of the Chino Valley believes the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God that provides all the direction necessary to understand God’s will for our lives and our marriages. We believe God has ordained marriage and Jesus Christ must be the cornerstone of our relationship with our spouse.
By providing small group study of God’s word, fellowship opportunities, our vision is to provide an environment where marriages may grow into the union God purposed it to be.
The purpose for the Couples’ Ministry is to strengthen couples’ relationships with God and each other by providing opportunities to worship, pray, study the Word of God and serve the Lord together.
