Our Kids Ministry here at Calvary Chapel Chino Valley has been formed to build a foundation in the walk of each child through the teaching of the Word of God, which will edify and establish them in the faith (Colossians 2:6-7).
We provide a loving and safe environment for the children to learn within, giving parents the opportunity to be ministered to by the Holy Spirit through the teachings of Pastor David Rosales.
It is our desire to come alongside parents as they train up their children in the Word of God, helping children to grow in their knowledge and understanding of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Our current focus in Kids Ministry is inspired by Jeremiah 23:29, “‘Is not my word like fire?’ says the Lord.” We strive to ignite the hearts of our kids in their relationship with the Lord, to ignite the hearts of our parents as they encourage their kids to live for Jesus outside the church, and to ignite our servants as they continue to be faithful to the Lord in His service.
If you are a first-time visitor or new to the church, here are a few helpful items to know.
Kids Ministry is available for all regular services and cares for children ranging from Infants to 6th graders. Junior High and High School Ministries are also available for older children.
Classrooms are opened 15 minutes prior to the start of services to allow you time to check in your children. We use KidCheck, a safe and secure check in system, to create an easy and speedy check in process. We also have three check in areas for your convenience; these areas can be found in the Banquet Hall, the 500 building hallway, and the South side of our 400 building.
To ensure that you experience KidCheck for all it’s worth, create an account.
Maps are located throughout the campus to help you in finding the classrooms your children will be assigned to during a particular service. If you need help finding your children’s classrooms, please feel free to ask for help from any of our friendly Kids Ministry volunteers.

Young People Serving in Kids Ministry
We encourage kids who would like to begin serving in the church to start serving in T.E.A.M. or on the Kids Worship Team. Both of these areas allow kids to be trained up in their service to the Lord, under the guidance of experienced adult servants.
The goal of T.E.A.M. is to encourage young people (10 years old and older) to become part of the working body of Christ. We desire to train them to diligently and wholeheartedly serve the Lord. As a T.E.A.M. member young people assist Teachers in the classroom and minister to the younger kids.
As part of the Kids Worship Team young people are able to assist the Worship Leader during services in leading different grade levels in worship. The goal of the Kids Worship Team is to teach the children what it is to worship God and to help them memorize Scripture and the attributes of God.
If your child is interested in serving in any of these areas, please bring them to the Kids Ministry Office and we will happily help them get started in their service to the Lord.
