Kids Ministry: 2017 Conference

Whether you’ve attended a Kids Ministry Conference before, or maybe you’re completely new to the idea, we invite you to join us for the 2017 Inland Empire Kids Ministry Conference on September 16th!

This single-day conference will consist of two general sessions (worship and teaching), workshop meetings, and a time of fellowship.

Our vision is to see you connect with fellow kids’ ministry servants, establish new methods of reaching kids wherever you serve within the ministry, and be replenished with the Word of God as you continue to connect with kids.

Get linked with some of the best minds in the ministry and be geared up with fresh ideas, helpful tools, and new friends to encourage you in “connecting kids to Christ.”

Our theme this year is "Connecting Kids to Christ," taken from Matthew 18:1-5, "At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, 'Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?' Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.'"

Registration will open Sunday, July 2nd. The cost to attend the conference is $30 per person if registered BEFORE Sunday, September 3rd. If registered ON/AFTER Sunday, September 3rd the cost is $40 per person. A boxed lunch is included in the cost of each ticket.

If you are a Calvary Chapel Chino Valley Kids Ministry servant, please come to the office to register.

Pastor Chris Begnaud
Calvary Chapel Tooele Springs

In February 2013, Pastor Chris and his family moved to Tooele, Utah where they believe God called them to plant a Calvary Chapel Church. Chris gave his wife to Jesus in March of 1994 while attending Calvary Chapel South Bay. Two years later, he attended Bible College at Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies. Chris wore many hats as an Assistant Pastor at Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel over the 15 years he was on staff.

"I was brought on staff fresh off a wedding and Bible College graduation (literally in the same week) as the Children's Ministry Pastor, and stayed in that roll for the entire 15 years. I also served in many other places; I coached, taught Bible in the Christian School and Bible College, and taught and served in the marriage ministry for many years. A ministry that I am passionate about to this day. At one point I was the head usher, bulletin folder, bathroom cleaner, and chair setter-upper and take-downer. I had the wonderful opportunity to serve on the Elder Board for most of the 15 years I was there. First as an intern, and eventually as a voting Board member." Pastor Chris is married to Lydia and has three sons and a daughter.

Join us as we welcome back Kris Deeds, Joe Delira, Terri Garcia, Bob Mitchell, Kathy Vincent and others from the 2016 conference and introduce Craig Arnhart, Susanna Guerrero, Ruth Heise, Mark Lara, Ed Littell, Michelle Littell and others for our 2017 conference.
