Missions

The Missions Ministry at Calvary Chapel Chino Valley exists to fulfill the Great Commission given to the Church to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). It is our desire to provide the Body of Christ with a variety of opportunities to experience God while using them to reach the world around them, locally, nationally and internationally.

The Missions Ministry includes opportunities to minister at local outreaches, day trips, weekend trips, short term missions trips, times of fellowship and discipleship. Additionally, we will pray for and encourage individuals and families who hear the call to “Go” into the mission field.

Monthly Mission’s Prayer and Update Meeting

Please join us for our March meeting that is scheduled on Sunday 3/4/12 after 3rd service upstairs in room 305.  This is an opportunity to become informed about what is going on with our missionaries as well as our many church plants throughout he US and pray specifically for their needs.   If the Lord is leading you toward being “mission minded”, this is a good place to get involved.   All are welcome to come and hear what is going on in the mission field.  Please keep the 2012 Mission’s Ministry in prayer and pray about joining us.

Our Next One-Day Mission Trip to Tijuana

We are taking sign-ups beginning on Sunday, 2/26/12 for our next one-day trip to Tijuana to help Spectrum Ministry provide blessings to the children in a very poor neighborhood.  The cost to attend is $35 and is due at the time of sign up.  A valid passport is required.  If you are interested, please stop by the Gazebo for a flyer with more information.  If you would like to help with the trip, but are not free to go, you may donate new socks and underwear for boys or girls ages 2 – 12years.  You may bring these items to the church office (M-F 9-5) or the Gazebo after any service.

January 2012 1-Day Mission Trip to Tijuana

1-Day Mission Trip -  Our team traveled to Tijuana on Saturday, January 28th to minister to children from very poor families who live on the outskirts of the city.  They set up showers and provided clean clothing and food.  It was a blessing to see how the Lord can use simple things to bless others.  Pray about becoming part of the next trip!

Mission Trip to Mexicali – December 16 – 18

Thank You From the Mission’s Ministry! – A grateful thank you to all who contributed boxes with gifts to our “Christmas Boxes to Mexicali” event.  It was a great success and the children who received the gifts, were very blessed! A team of 27 people took 7 vehicles and a trailer all filled with gifts, supplies and hearts to serve the children of Mexicali.  The team had a wonderful weekend of ministry, but we especially thank our CCCV fellowship for their generosity. Please keep their ministry in your prayers.
