Opportunities for Women

Women's Dinner Ministry

Women’s Dinner Ministry provides meals for families of ladies who have given birth, undergone surgery, or are experiencing an illness.

You may get involved in this ministry by volunteering to prepare and deliver a meal to a family in need based on the aforementioned circumstances. You may volunteer once or twice a month, adjusting your service to your personal schedule of availability. With the meal which you will prepare, you may provide paper goods as well as words of encouragement. This is a great way to get involved in a ministry for fellowship and to “serve one another.”

Women's Special Events

The Special Events ministry serves the ladies of our fellowship and our guests during women's events. The following is a list of available areas of service during any given event:

Create centerpieces
Decorate venue
Set-up & tear-down
Prepare food and beverages
Serve tables/buffet lines
Host and greet guests

In this ministry, we strive to show kindness and the love of Jesus Christ to all who enter our doors. This ministry is organized on a volunteer-basis. When an event is approaching, ladies in the Special Events ministry are contacted via phone call or email, and given all of the event details. From there, servants can respond, indicating whether or not they are available to serve. If available, they will be added to the team for that event.

New Believers Follow-up

This ministry provides follow up on those who have come forward and made a commitment to the Lord, and welcomes those newly born into the Lord and into our family. We also share with these new believers and get them started on the right track, explaining to them what they have done and the impact it will have on their lives.

New Believers’ ministers need to have a desire to serve others and to grow in the things of the Lord themselves. All applicants go through a six-week training course and will be guided (step-by-step) in the process of ministering to a new believer.

The following is a quick list of commitments that are expected from a New Believer minister:
1. Follow up once a week after service (approx. 15 min.)
2. Set aside time each week to do phone follow-up from home (approx. 30 min.)
3. Two hours once a month on a Tuesday night for phone follow-up from the church
