BIRTHDAY MONDAYS ARE HERE!
Beginning May 7th, we will set aside the first Monday night of each month to celebrate birthdays for our Committed family for the month, complete with an out-of-tune rendition of “Happy Birthday”!  So on May 7th, we will celebration our May birthdays during our fellowship time following our Monday night study.

FREE YOUTH/YOUNG ADULT CONCERT
On Wednesday evening, May 2nd, 7pm in the Chapel, we have planned an evening for our jr. high and high school age youth, and young adults.  We’ve invited guest So Cal artist Via Verde to kick off their “No Greater Love” tour right here at CCCV!  Via Verde delivers an exceptionally catchy brand of Alternative Rock with moments of heaviness and an overall message of love.

Following Via Verde’s performance will be a special message about the hope that we have in Christ and the unconditional love that He has for us!  We encourage you to pick up some extra flyers to invite your friends!

MINIATURE GOLF CHALLENGE @ SCANDIA
Come out to Scandia in Ontario for a miniature golf challenge.  For those up for some friendly competition, meet us on Saturday, May 12th, from 5:30pm – 8pm, at the main gate of Scandia.  The cost is $10.95 for unlimited golf.  We will not be taking sign ups; payments are made directly to Scandia.  See you there!

SERVANTS
Have you been praying about serving the Lord but not quite sure where to go or how to get started?  Have you wanted to put your God-given gifts to use for the Lord?  There are so many ways that you can do just that by getting involved with the Committed Ministry! If you would like to get started serving or have questions about the ministry, sign up after service.  Specifically, we are looking for servants to help with ushers/greeters, cleaning, children’s ministry and hospitality.

EXTENDED WORSHIP & PRAYER
On the second Monday of each month we have an extended time of worship after study ends.  During that time, if you need prayer, we will have people in the back of the room available to pray for you.  We also have prayer request cards at the sign up table where you can leave a prayer request, and we will be praying for you throughout the week.  Our next evening of extended worship and prayer is May 14th.

COMMUNION
The 4th Monday of each month we have set aside some time after the study to celebrate communion as a Committed family.  We will celebrate communion on Monday May 28th.  Join us as we remember the sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf, and the gift of salvation that He made available to us.
