Delicious steaks and homemade tortillas are already two reasons why you’ll want to join us for our Men’s Super Bowl Breakfast on Saturday, February 3rd at 8:30am. Men, if you have never joined us at this event, this is a great time to hit the brakes on your busy schedule to have some fun and be encouraged alongside your brothers in the Lord!
To start off the morning, a hearty steak breakfast is served. Men have the chance to share a meal together, catch up with old friends and meet new faces. Afterwards, we join in the Chapel to be fed spiritually as our gifted guest speaker, Bill Paige, shares a special and timely message specifically for the men.
For only $10, breakfast tickets include: steak, potatoes, eggs, homemade tortillas and salsa, orange juice, and coffee. Tickets will be available for a limited time and can be purchased online, at the gazebo after service, or Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the church office.
We pray you can join us!
GUEST SPEAKER: BILL PAIGE
Our guest speaker will be the gifted and passionate Bill Paige. He retired after 20 years of being a police officer and detective in and around New York City, and has over 35 years of experience in ministry. He has addressed chapel services for the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB) and has spoken at the NFL Pro Bowl on four separate occasions.
Mr. Paige served for 14 years as the associate chaplain at Children’s Village where he worked with emotionally disturbed boys in the city. He served with the senior leadership of Young Life for 21 years as Special Assistant to the President and Multicultural Urban Vice President. As an ordained minister, Mr. Paige holds a wealth of valuable insight in the areas of emotional and behavioral problems among young people and is a certified trainer for “Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.”
Bill Paige is also the author of the book, “Hope on a Rope”: Lifelines for Knuckleheads. In his book, he examines the subject of hope through scriptures and personal anecdotes, describing with transparency how he encountered issues that could have defeated him. Mr. Paige details how being effective in ministry did not prevent him from facing challenges that could have derailed his personal and spiritual life. Despite being tested, he never gave up. He never lost hope. In 17 chapters, the retired police officer and former youth chaplain describes how hope has been the singular influence that has kept him through tests and has been the reason he can share the blessings of a victorious life with audiences around the world.
