ShinyHead formed in 2010 fronted by sisters Kayla and Riley Ormonde. With opposite vocal styles, the sisters are known to switch off and bounce around each other in both singing and songwriting. Acoustic driven and accompanied by seasoned band-mates, this lends to popish melodies with more alternative and sometimes folky “sound”. Their first EP, “Can You See the Light” features the band’s earliest of original songs, released in 2012. As born again Christians, the band was excited too release their second EP, “Victory” featuring original worship songs, late spring of 2015. Mentored in their early years by Holland Davis, and privileged to play alongside many other great talents of the trade, the band plays a diversity of events, venues, and settings up and down the West coast. Whether at concert festivals or coffee houses, worship nights or weddings, for radio or rehabs, their passionate delivery of sharing hope remains constant.
