Amy Barnes Bio
Comedienne Amy Barnes has performed at over 500 theaters and faith-based events. She has numerous national TV appearances from Comedy Central to the Gospel Network.
This engineer turned comedienne connects with a cross generational relevance, her audience interaction connects strangers with that one-of-a-kind experience, and her singing takes her show to the next level of live performances. A quick-witted stand-up comic with an amazing voice will leave you feeling like you are reconnected with an old friend. She is currently in seminary working toward her MDiv and teaches regularly at churches and conferences around the country. She has a passion for sharing and teaching God’s word and is unlike any speaker you will find.
Married since 2002 to comedian and writer, Jerry Miner, Amy now resides in the Pacific Northwest with their 2 teenagers where she has accumulated some even bigger credits including dance mom, YMCA member, and PTA President.
For anyone feeling stuck, grieving or waiting for a breakthrough, Amy offers this encouragement:
“Know who God is. He is faithful. He is good. And He’s not going anywhere.”
