Fervent Love
Join our Fervent Love Ministry for a 10-week course as we explore new material designed to equip and guide us in ministering to the LGBTQ+ community.
Throughout this course, we will not only learn how to minister to loved ones who identify with the LGBTQ+ lifestyle, but also focus on strengthening our own faith and deepening our relationship with the Lord. Together, we will thoughtfully address the internal questions we may face and seek biblical understanding and clarity.
The heart of this class is to minister to one family at a time—learning how to lovingly point others to Christ without compromising the truth of the Gospel.
Topics will include:
We will meet on campus on Tuesdays at 7:00pm, from June 2 through August 11.
ABOUT THE MINISTRY:
"Compassionate love and prayer for the LGBTQ+ community without compromising the Gospel."
Based out of the scripture 1 Peter 4:8, our new ministry, Fervent Love, is intended and designed to equip families with biblical truths on how to minister to their loved ones living in the LGBTQ+ lifestyle. Whether you are a parent, sibling, or family member with someone in this lifestyle, our goal is to provide a biblical foundation as to how to show the love of Christ, while not compromising the truth of the Gospel.
The ministry’s basis is “Grace and Truth.” Its focus is on the balance between grace and truth as Jesus demonstrated throughout His ministry. Through His ministry, He teaches us how to minister out of our comfort zone.
Families will be taught how to use scripture, not as a weapon, but as a reference on giving grace and loving the sinner, while not compromising the truth of the gospel. Our focus is assisting parents and family members of those who are struggling with same-sex attraction and is also open to those who are in this lifestyle to attend and be ministered to.
1 Peter 4:8 - And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins”
