High School Apologetics Conference

High Schoolers, get ready for an eye-opening weekend that will challenge you, deepen your faith, and provide real answers to the toughest questions about God, truth, and the world we live in.

This two-day Youth Apologetics Conference will take place at Calvary Chapel Downey, where students will explore why Christianity isn’t just a story people believe, but the true story of reality. You’ll learn from seasoned believers who are well-versed in today’s toughest conversations and who speak directly to the real issues students face—covering topics like dating, atheism, how to share your faith with an LGBTQ+ friend, suicide, the impact of social media, Christianity vs. Mormonism, and more. This weekend is designed to help students think critically, grow spiritually, and walk away more confidently in what they believe and why it matters.

WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Sessions tackling big questions like “Why does Christianity make sense of reality?”
  • Breakout workshops that dive into issues important to students
  • Worship, connection, and honest conversations with others
  • A chance to think deeper about your faith, what the Bible says, and how it applies to everyday life

The conference takes place Friday, April 24th – Saturday, April 25th and costs $44 per student. We will meet on campus at Calvary Chapel Chino Valley each day, then travel together as a group. High school leaders will provide transportation and attend with the students throughout the weekend.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Is this an overnight event?
No. This is not an overnight event. The group will travel to and from the conference both days and will return to Calvary Chapel Chino Valley each night.

Who is this conference for?
This conference is designed for high school students. The content will be age-appropriate, honest, and relevant to the real questions students are facing today.

Do I need to be strong in my faith to attend?
Not at all. Whether you’re confident in what you believe, wrestling with doubts, or still figuring things out, this conference is a safe place to ask questions and grow.

What if I can only attend one day? Does that change the cost?
You’re still welcome to join us even if you can only attend part of the conference. However, this event does not offer a one-day option, so the cost will remain the same whether you attend one or both days.

Are meals included in the cost?
No, meals are not included. Students should bring money for dinner on Friday, and lunch and dinner on Saturday. Our group will eat together at a local restaurant. Students may also bring their own food, but please note that we will not have refrigeration available for items that need to be kept cold.
Will students be supervised the entire weekend?
Yes. High school leaders will travel with students, attend the conference, and provide supervision throughout the entire weekend.

What should I bring?
Students should bring a Bible, a notebook, something to write with, and spending money for meals (unless bringing their own food).

Be sure to register using our sign-up link if you plan to attend with us. Spots are limited and will fill quickly. You won’t want to miss this, it’s going to be worth your time.
