Closer Look: Understanding Islam & Defending Your Christian Faith
All 4th-6th graders are invited to join us for “Closer Look Understanding Islam and Defending Your Christian Faith.”
On Saturday, August 29th, from 9:00am – 12:00pm, we’ll be hosting an apologetics forum designed to help students grow in their understanding of Islam while equipping them to confidently defend their Christian faith in a world where they are increasingly likely to encounter people of different beliefs.
We’ll gather in the Banquet Hall for a morning that includes two engaging study sessions, dedicated Q&A opportunities where students can ask their questions, and a break in between to enjoy lunch and dessert together.
Our own Stephen Cserhalmi will be teaching throughout the event and leading the Q&A sessions. Stephen served as a missionary to Morocco in the past and has continued to minister to Muslim communities both locally and nationally through evangelism and outreach.
Throughout the morning, students will learn how Christianity and Islam differ, why those differences matter, and how to confidently explain and defend the truths of God’s Word with both conviction and Christlike love. They’ll also receive resources to take home so you, as parents, can continue these important conversations together.
Registration closes Sunday, August 23rd. We hope your student will join us!
Event Includes:
