It takes a team to make VBS possible, and there’s an opportunity for individuals to jump in and help! If you are excited about VBS or unable to serve during the week of VBS but would still like to be part of this impactful event, you can consider signing up to serve in an area of the VBS Prep Team!

Since VBS is such a large event, there’s plenty of preparation happening before the event week begins. There are multiple areas to serve with flexible time frames that can work with a variety of schedules.

VBS Prep Team Meeting Details
A meeting is taking place on Sunday, May 31st at 1:00pm in the Banquet Hall for those who sign up to serve in any of the prep areas. This is a great opportunity to meet the leadership, learn more about your role, and be encouraged as we gear up for an exciting week of VBS!

Area Descriptions

Stage Building
Help us create awesome sets that will bring the stage in the Sanctuary to life, plus some fun displays around campus! This area’s prep will include painting, light construction, and assembling set pieces with a leader that will guide you step-by-step.

Decorating
Take part in making the campus look amazing! You’ll help create decorations that will liven up both the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Registration Team
Be the friendly face that helps families sign up for VBS before and after Sunday services.

T-Shirt Prep
Sort, fold, and organize VBS t-shirts to get them ready for pick-up! A great role if you enjoy hands-on tasks and helping things to stay organized.

Office Support
Assist the Kids Ministry Office with preparing for an exciting VBS with snack prep, organizing craft materials, sorting t-shirts, and more!
