The AWANA program at CCCV takes place every Sunday evening from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in the 500 bldg. Kids in Pre-K through 6th grade are invited to join us for Bible study and special activities. AWANA strives to reach kids through fun, and Scripture-rich experiences to equip them to change the world. 

Registration is $65 per child. This registration cost will remain the same throughout the entire 2022-2023 academic year and will not roll over to the next academic year. All registration costs are non-refundable.

HOW IT WORKS:

During the AWANA program, kids are placed in groups based on their grade and gender. Rotating through three different areas, kids are enriched through game time, small group, and large group. 

Game Time is packed with fun and exciting activities for the kids, giving them a time to fellowship with one another and build friendships.

Small Group provides more personal interaction between AWANA servants and the kids. Kids recite Scripture they have memorized during the week and are mentored by their group leader. 

Large Group brings all the kids together for a collective time of worship and a devotion.

A: The AWANA name was derived from the first letters of “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
