Men, join us on Thursday, May 14th through Sunday, May 17th for our Father and Son Fishing Trip. This is a great opportunity for fathers to spend time with their sons, gather for fellowship alongside like-minded men, and be in God’s Word together. We will be heading to Brown’s Millpond Campground in Bishop, and the cost to attend is just $26 per person.
There are plenty of opportunities to hike, fish, ride bikes, and play sports. You are free to fish with your son, father, in a group, or alone. We will gather for a short Bible study around the campfire each evening as a group.
Some food and beverages will be provided: cold cereal, oatmeal, deli meat, bread, hamburgers, hot dogs, coffee, orange juice, and hot chocolate. You are welcome to bring your own food and cook for yourself. Fast food and dine-in restaurants are also a short drive away.
A fishing license is required for anyone fishing over the age of 16. You can purchase a 1-day, 2-day, or a 1-year license at Kmart, Walmart, or your local sporting goods store. You do not have to know how to fish, but please bring your own fishing gear.
Fishing License Fees:
- 1-day license for $16.46
- 2-day license for $25.66
- 1-year license for $51.02
