Who is invited to attend: This ministry is for all active or retired First Responders, including Law Enforcement, Fire, Military/Veterans, Corrections, Dispatchers, Chaplains, Spouses, Emergency Medical Service, Security, and all who work in public safety or who respond to emergency situations.
About the ministry: First Responders deal with trauma, stress, and emotionally draining circumstances on a daily basis. They encounter situations the average person may never see or experience. The stress of the job and the long hours take a toll on them, their marriages, their families, and their overall mental health. Post-traumatic stress, depression, suicide, addiction, and alcoholism are a reality for many First Responders. Retaining some semblance of sanity and a strong Christian walk is a challenge. By discussing the issues they consistently face, this ministry provides a biblical response on these topics. Staying grounded in the Word of God and having fellowship with other believers who are dealing with the same issues are keys to surviving these professions and the difficulties that come with them.
2 Samuel 23:2-3, “The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, And His word was on my tongue. The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: ‘He who rules over men must be just, Ruling in the Fear of God.’”
