Who We Are
The Couples’ Ministry believes that the Bible provides all the direction necessary to understand God’s will for our lives and our marriages. We believe God has ordained marriage and Jesus Christ must be the cornerstone of our relationship with our spouse. Events and classes are offered throughout the year. These include couples’ study, couples’ conference, a retreat, holiday events, serving opportunities, date nights, and more, all designed to strengthen and foster growth for dating, engaged, and married couples.
“Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12.
Marriage 101
At Calvary Chapel Chino Valley, we believe that marriage is one of the most important decisions of our lives, second only to our decision to receive Jesus as Lord. Marriage 101 is a 5-week, no-cost premarital counseling course designed to prepare engaged couples for this step in their Christian lives. Married couples are also welcome to attend. The course is offered three times a year in the spring, summer and fall.
