OH HAPPY DAY: When Everything Changed

"For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures." 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

CCCV Kids will be having joy-filled Easter celebrations for all kids, infants – 6th grade and those with special needs! This year, kids will embark on a journey beginning on Palm Sunday to discover when everything changed and why we have a reason to shout, “Oh Happy Day!” They will learn why Jesus came, why He died, and why His resurrection is worth celebrating. Kids can invite their friends and family for the following services and share the happiness and significance of the Resurrection with those they love.

• Why He Came: Palm Sunday – During Regular Sunday services at 8:30am and 10:45am
• Why He Died: Good Friday – During 7:00pm Service
• Why He Rose: Easter Sunday – During Services at 8:30am & 11:00am

Here’s What to Expect!
Special Teachings – Kids will explore the wonderful account of why Jesus came, died, and rose again through engaging teachings designed to minister to each age group.
Worship – Singing praises to our Christ and King; our wonderful Kids Worship Team will lead the kids in songs reflecting on what He has done for us.
Crafts & Activities – Each service will have crafts and activities designed to engage kids according to their age level and help them remember the lessons taught in their time of teaching.
Snacks – Snacks help make services feel like celebrations! Parents will be notified ahead of time of any snacks enjoyed during services, or kids will be able to take their snacks with them at check-out to enjoy at home.
Take-Home Activities – The fun doesn’t end at church! Kids will be able to take home activities they can enjoy with their families, extending the joy of Easter beyond their time in service!
