Lion Tamers is a ministry that provides biblical support for people struggling with substance abuse, family and marital issues, anger, or other habitual sins.
The curriculum examines the Scriptures and illuminates biblical principles designed to help a person work through and gain victory over addiction, personal and relational issues, sin, and other habitual behaviors leading to restoration and wholeness in Christ.
Lion Tamers meets weekly on Tuesday and Friday nights from 7:00-9:00pm in the 500 building. This ministry is free and open to the public. Childcare is provided.
Lion Tamers provides Biblical guidance to those who are seeking a Christian alternative to secular counseling. It is a ministry designed to help people overcome addictive behaviors, whether they are related to substance abuse, emotional issues, or sexual sins. Lion Tamers ministers not only to those battling habitual, sinful conduct, but also to their family and friends. We highly encourage those closest to the people who are striving to overcome addictive behaviors to accompany them to our meetings. This provides them with support, accountability, and a better understanding of the internal fight they are facing.
Lion Tamers offers Biblical guidance for:
